Amazing - Mobile Environment Art

Amazing is a procedurally generated maze game that was developed for the Amazon Fire Phones (and later Android). The purpose of the game was to navigate a maze, collect the keys and escape to the next level. I lead the visual direction and creation of most of the assets used in the game many of which needed to be modular and tile based for level generation. Many of the textures for the game were developed to work with a custom Substance file that I created for Unity which would adjust the decay level of the texture based on the players proximity to the exit or key item areas, which helped serve as a visual hot/cold clue.

All meshes are under 600 polygons, optimized for mobile performance, occlusion, and lightmap baking, and share one of two 1024 x 1024 diffuse and normal atlases.
